Local Authorities – Scale care capacity and reduce cost pressures.
Housing Providers – Add wellbeing checks without extra staffing.
Health and Social Care Partners – Enable early intervention and hospital discharge.
Private Customers & Families – Affordable reassurance and independence at home.
We support Local Authority and Corporate partners to introduce innovative hybrid care models, combining Virtual Care with in-person domiciliary support to deliver care that is efficient, cost-effective, and centred on personalised individual outcomes.
Our approach is less intrusive, promotes independence, and gives people greater choice and control. The same Virtual Care solution also helps people stay connected with friends and family, reducing loneliness and social isolation.
By blending virtual and in-person support, partners can scale care capacity while reducing staffing and cost pressures. This enables earlier intervention, supports hospital discharge, and delivers a more sustainable, eco-friendly model.
Virtual Care can also be combined with proactive TEC solutions, including IoT sensor packs, remote wellbeing checks, health device monitoring, and 24/7 emergency support through our Proactive Alarm Receiving Centre — providing a complete care solution.

A Virtual Care Case Study
Meet Michael

Michael was living independently but needed daily support due to mental health challenges. He required regular prompts for meals, medication, and routine, and felt isolated and uncomfortable with frequent carers visiting his home.
As a result of challenging behaviour, Michael had 2 carers visiting 4 times a day. This was due to his dislike of having them come to his home. Despite being physically able, the level of in-person support had become intrusive and was putting strain on both Michael and the care system.

Michael was referred to us with his in-person care being replaced with Alcove Virtual Care. Through scheduled video calls with a consistent Virtual Carer, Michael received daily prompts, reassurance, and emotional support – without carers entering his home. He also used the Video Carephone to stay in touch with friends, helping him feel more connected and less alone.
“I no longer feel alone. I talk to my carer about anything.
I take my medication, eat well, and feel happier. I feel like a different person
– I have a life again.”
